FluroSat unveils FluroSense - crop health monitoring platform

Simplifying the work with agriculture data for better yields and higher returns on investments

Note: In 2021, FluroSat and soil health startup Dagan combined forces to become Regrow. Up-to-date information about the Regrow platform can be found on regrow.ag.

Sydney, Australia, 7 August 2018 -- FluroSat is proud to announce the launch of FluroSense, a crop health monitoring platform that makes precision agriculture effective. The platform is the result of FluroSat's work from over 2 years of agricultural science and software engineering research, field-tested. The platform is also validated and proven over four seasons across a wide range of crops.

FluroSense is accessible from PC, smartphone or tablet and uses satellite and aerial spectral data to generate health maps of fields that help identify areas that need field scouting. Importing the results of as little as three Tissue Sampling Points (TSP) per field allows the creation of precise and accurate field-wide nitrogen maps.

It is a practical crop health monitoring tool for growers and crop advisors. FluroSense shows where a grower needs to apply fertiliser or water, with management zones that can be exported directly into VRT equipment or used to print maps to better direct farm management teams.

One of the key objectives in building FluroSense is to simplify site-specific crop-management. Alongside TSP data, agronomists and growers can import soil, historical yield and other data to finetune analysis to each of the fields. Field observations can be added through annotations, creating a comprehensive snapshot of field that can also be used for improving yield predictions.

Agronomists and growers can try FluroSense on their fields with a 30-day free trial by signing up here.
